A living material, made to last with a little care

Every print is made on a real leaf, not synthetic paper or canvas, which means it behaves like one. I take real steps to protect each piece, and there's a little you can do too, to help it stay vivid for years to come.

What I do to protect it

Every print goes through a multi-step preservation process before it ever reaches you.

  • A copper sulfate bath to help set and stabilize the color in the leaf.

  • Pressing and drying to remove moisture that could cause mold or warping.

  • A wax seal to protect the surface from air and humidity.

  • Framing behind glass or acrylic for an added layer of protection from light and dust.

How to care for it at home

A few simple habits go a long way in keeping your print looking its best.

  • Keep it out of direct sunlight. UV exposure is the biggest cause of fading over time.

  • Avoid humid spaces like bathrooms or areas near steam, which can affect the leaf and wax seal.

  • Dust the frame gently with a dry cloth rather than cleaning sprays directly on the glass.

  • Avoid hanging it somewhere with major temperature swings, like near a heater or an exterior wall..
